Russian and Sudanese oil companies sign memorandum of understanding in Portsudan
Russian Al-Rassi International Services (LLC) and Russian Zarweg Oil Company signed a memorandum of understanding with Bashayer Petroleum Pipelines Company on Saturday in Portsudan to cooperate in the field of petroleum services.
The memorandum was signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Alexei Ivanin, and the General Manager of Bashayer Petroleum Pipelines Company, in the presence of a delegation from the Russian Embassy and a representative from the Russian Zarweg Oil Company. In the same context, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Oil, Engineer Mohamed Awad Al-Khair, signed the minutes of the meetings with the delegation of Russian companies and the embassy representative, in the presence of several leaderships from the Ministry of Energy and Oil.
The meetings touched on the technical and administrative aspects to prepare for the final agreement on several issues, including the partnership with Sudapet and investment in the oil sector in oil exploration, production, and petroleum services with national companies. It's worth noting that a delegation of Russian companies arrived in the country a week ago and met with several ministers to discuss investment opportunities in Sudan in several sectors, including petroleum and petroleum services.
