Applying for Visas for Employees of International Organizations

• All kinds of visa requests for the employees of international organizations operating in Sudan are processed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Sudan in Khartoum.
• All Organizations operating in Sudan are requested to instruct their offices in Khartoum to send their visas request directly to the Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Applying for an Entry Visa for Investment purposes

• A Letter from German Company stating the nature of the business and that the company will be financially and medically responsible as well as provide accommodation for the applicant. Letter must include details of business appointments, business intentions.
• Invitation from company in Sudan stating nature of business, dates and contact details.
• The expected time for issuing the visa is two to three weeks.

• Filled visa application form with the sponsor details fully provided therein. (New) Application form with the fingerprint system.

• One passport-size photo.
• Passport Copy.
• The passport should be valid for at least “6″ months + 3 empty pages.
• A return envelope (with post stamps) on which the address of the applicant is clearly written.

Applying for Tourist Visa

• Invitation letter from a recognized tourist agency legally registered in Sudan.
• Visa request can also be made through a sponsor on behalf of the applicant (Sudanese tourist companies, agencies or individuals) and its issuance takes place through the Ministry of the Interior of Sudan- Section "Borders and Foreign Citizens", for obtaining the unique entry permit number.
• After having the approval number issued and forwarded to the Embassy through official channels ( Ministry of Foreign Affairs), please bring the following:

1. 1. Filled visa application form with the sponsor details fully provided therein. ((New) Application form with the fingerprint system.
   2. One passport-size photo.
   3. Passport Copy.
   4. The passport should be valid for at least “6″ months + 3 empty pages.
   5. A return envelope (with post stamps) on which the address of the applicant is clearly written.
   6. In the case of a single parent accompanied by his/her children, please attach approval of the other parent issued by a certified notary.
   7. Attach a statment explaining the financial ability.

Visa application from Sudan

• Visa applications submitted by government agencies are sent to the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the competent authorities.
• Companies, non-governmental institutions and individuals wishing to apply for an entry visa for foreign nationals must apply at the Ministry of the Interior.

Request for a Tourist Visa across Borders

• Submission of an application describing the purpose of the visit and indicating the path you would like to follow.
• Attach a copy of your international driver's license.
• Attach the vehicle booklet containing (the license plate number – the chassis number).
• The expected time for issuing a visa is 6 to 12 weeks.

• Filled visa application form with the sponsor details fully provided therein.

Entry Visa for Sudanese holding Foreign Passports

• Sudanese applying with other passports can apply directly to the Embassy provided that they furnish a Sudanese ID with their application
• They have to provide the following with their applications:

• One passport-size photo.
• Passport Copy.
• The passport should be valid for at least “6″ months + 3 empty pages.
• A return envelope (with post stamps) on which the address of the applicant is clearly written.
