TSC Vice-President meets MSF Secretary-General

Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander Malik Aggar, has renewed the commitment of the Government of Sudan and its keenness to provide all facilities to ensure the success of the process of humanitarian aid accessing to those who deserve it. His Excellency stressed, during his meeting in his office on Sunday with the Secretary-General of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) International, Mr. Christopher Lockyer, the importance of respecting Sudanese sovereignty and the neutrality of organizations working in the humanitarian field and not using aid as a means to achieve political goals. For his part, the Secretary-General of MSF explained that his visit to Sudan came to assess the humanitarian situation and discuss ways to deliver aid, expressing the MSF desire to work on providing urgent needs.
