Al-Burhan makes a phone call to Salva Kiir

Al Burhan makes a phone call to Salva KiirPresident of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, stressed in a phone call with President of the Republic of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, that the security and stability of Sudan is an integral part of the security and stability of the State of South Sudan. During the call, the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them were reviewed, in addition to discussing a number of issues of joint interest.
TSC President was reassured about the overall situation in South Sudan following the events that the country witnessed, emphasizing the Sudanese government's keenness to sustain security and stability in South Sudan. President Al-Burhan pointed out that stability and security in the State of the South is positively reflected in the overall situation in Sudan. "The security and stability of Sudan is an integral part of the security and stability of the State of South Sudan." He added. For his part, President of the Republic of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, expressed his thanks and appreciation to TSC President, underscoring his commitment to working to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries, affirming the keenness of the Government of South Sudan to establish security and stability and return the security situation to the normal situation in his country.
