Sovereignty Council Denies Reports of Negotiations with Rebels in Washington
The Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) has categorically denied reports circulating in some media outlets and on social media about alleged direct or indirect negotiations between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the rebels in Washington.
The Council affirmed that such claims are completely baseless, reiterating that the State’s position remains firm and clear regarding any dialogue or settlement—namely, its commitment to a national solution that safeguards the country’s sovereignty, unity, stability, and the rights of the Sudanese people.
