Prime Minister Meets Delegation of the Masalit Tribe, Commends Their National Stance

Prime Minister Professor Kamil Idris Al-Tayib met in his office Thursday with a delegation from the Supreme Popular Committee of the Masalit Tribe in Sudan, in the presence of Engineer Al-Sadig, Al-Sheikh Suleimani, and several members of the committee’s leadership.
During the meeting, the delegation affirmed the Masalit community’s full support for the Government of Sudan and the state leadership in the Battle of Dignity, praising the government’s efforts to restore security and stability and alleviate citizens’ suffering.
The delegation also expressed full solidarity with the displaced, refugees, and besieged people in El-Fashir, highlighting the difficult humanitarian conditions they face and their urgent needs in health and essential services, emphasizing the importance of coordination to deliver the required humanitarian assistance.
They further noted that they are preparing to implement a package of initiatives and measures in the coming days to support national and relief efforts.
The Prime Minister commended the Masalit Tribe’s patriotic stance in support of the nation and its unity, reaffirming the government’s commitment to promoting peaceful coexistence among social components and addressing humanitarian needs in conflict-affected areas.
