Prime Minister Issues Decision to Reduce Passport Fees for Sudanese Abroad
Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris has issued a decision to reduce the fees for issuing and renewing passports for Sudanese citizens abroad by 30%, as part of the government’s policy to ease the financial burdens on Sudanese expatriates and encourage voluntary return.
According to the decision, the reduction will take effect from November 1 until December 31, 2025, with instructions to the concerned authorities to take the necessary measures for implementation through Sudan’s diplomatic and consular missions in various countries.
The Prime Minister affirmed that this step reflects the government’s appreciation for the efforts of Sudanese abroad and aims to alleviate their hardships, while also supporting voluntary return programs and contributing to the nation’s reconstruction and stability.
