Cabinet Discusses Implementation of “Government of Hope” Programs, Reviews Health Situation in the Country
The Council of Ministers held its regular meeting Sunday in Port Sudan, chaired by the Prime Minister, Dr. Kamil Idris, during which it reviewed a number of issues related to the implementation of the Government of Hope programs and projects.
The Council approved the Banking Act 2025, presented by the Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan (CBoS). It also heard a report on the overall health situation in the country, with a particular focus on dengue fever and malaria.
The Minister of Health outlined the efforts exerted by the State to strengthen the health system and control diseases in order to prevent new outbreaks. The Council commended the efforts of the Ministry of Health and relevant bodies, appreciating their role in mitigating the spread of dengue fever and malaria.
