Foreign Minister Meets UN Resident Humanitarian Coordinator in Sudan
Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohy-Eddin Salem, on Thursday met with the United Nations Resident Humanitarian Coordinator in Sudan, Denise Brown.
The meeting aimed to brief the Minister on the visit of the UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, Tom Fletcher, to the Darfur States.
The Minister expressed the Government of Sudan’s appreciation for the efforts of the United Nations and its specialized agencies in delivering assistance to those in need across Sudan.
