TSC Vice-President Announces Adoption to Address Industrial Issues in Gezira StateVice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSCl, General Malik Agar, announced during his visit Monday morning to the Marangan Industrial Zone in Greater Madani Locality, his adoption of addressing industrial issues in the state. For his part, the Wali (governor) of Gezira State, Al-Tahir Ibrahim Al-Khair, announced his support for the industrial sector.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Finance, Economy, and Manpower, Atif Abu Shouk, revealed that eight major industrial zones in the state had been subjected to total destruction, looting, and burning.
The Head of the Madani Chamber of Industry, Abdel-Wahab Abdel-Razig, called for addressing electricity problems, establishing a portfolio for reconstruction and support for the industrial sector, scheduling installments, removing informal housing in industrial zones, expediting government procedures and transactions, and addressing the problem of insolvent people.
