TSC President Meets Turkish President
Antalya, President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Saturday. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support and strengthen them. The two Presidents also touched on areas of joint cooperation at various levels and ways to develop them for the benefit of both countries and peoples.
The meeting also addressed developments in Sudan, efforts to achieve peace, reconstruction, and development, and dileberated on key regional and international developments and issues of mutual interest.
President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council expressed his appreciation for Turkey's supportive stances toward Sudan in regional and international forums, its commitment to preserving its sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as Turkish continued support for the Sudanese people, and its provision of humanitarian aid during the current crisis in Sudan. For his part, the Turkish President welcomed the visit of TSC President to his country, praising the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries, affirming his determination to advance them to wider horizons to achieve the joint interests of the two countries and brotherly peoples.
Erdogan reiterated Turkey's commitment to continuing its support for Sudan and supporting all efforts aimed at achieving security, stability, and peace in Sudan, stressing his country's support for the Sudanese people and government in overcoming current challenges.
