Jabir praises Germany's supportive stance towards Sudan
Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Engineer Ibrahim Jabir, praised Germany's supportive stance towards Sudan, affirming the government's commitment to realizing peace and ending the suffering of the Sudanese people. He emphasized Sudan's readiness to ensure humanitarian aid reaches those affected by the war in conflict zones and displaced persons in safe states, and to facilitate the work of relief teams and staff of organizations operating in the humanitarian field.
The meeting discussed the current situation in the country and its regional and international impact. For his part, German Minister of State Niels Annen stated that his visit, the first to Portsudan, aimed to hold high-level meetings to reaffirm Germany's commitment to supporting and partnering with the Sudanese people during difficult times.
The German minister highlighted the developed bilateral relations and friendship between the two nations, as well as Germany's history of providing aid to the Sudanese people. He expressed his confidence that Germany's contribution would reach those most in need and contribute to a brighter future for the Sudanese people.
