Press Statement
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Sudan deplores the false allegations made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, that the residence of its ambassador in Khartoum has been bombed by the Sudanese armed forces. These false allegations have been refuted and condemned by SAF. It is necessary to recall in this respect the inalienable legal right granted enshrined in all domestic and international laws and the constitutional rights to the National Armies to carry out their core duty to protect their countries, their regional safety, people and its sovereignty against any aggressors or aggression, and to confront mercenaries and terrorists wherever they are, from wherever they came. SAF is committed to international law and Vienna Convention 1961. The RSF Militia had launched rockets attack on more than 40 diplomatic and UN Agencies headquarters in Khartoum since the outbreak of the war of aggression. These false allegations are a desperate attempt to cover up documented international reports that exposed the UAE's evil role in the continuation and fueling of the war in Sudan and its direct responsibility for the atrocities committed by the Janjaweed terrorist militia, including crimes against humanity, ethnic cleansing, genocide, sexual violence and enslavement of women and children.
The lead international investigative press has recently documented in detail and figures that the supply of Emirati weapons to the militia and hundreds thousands of mercenaries funded by the UAE, is the first reason for the continuation of the war in Sudan and the human suffering.
Therefore, it is ironic that the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs talks about rejecting terrorism and claim to be abiding by International Law; while sponsoring a militia that incarnates the worst ever known of terrorist groups, and together with the militia it sponsors continue to violate the basic rules of International Law.
