In a phone call with Al-Burhan, Erdogan renews his support for Sudan
President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, received a phone call on Friday from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in which he stressed Turkey's keenness on the unity and stability of Sudan, renewing Turkey's support for the Sudanese people with all capabilities. President Erdogan expressed the continuation of humanitarian aid provided by Turkey, noting the resumption of Turkish Airlines operations shortly, underscoring his country's readiness to make every effort to strengthen diplomatic relations between the two countries, stressing the importance of cooperation in the fields of agriculture and mining. President Erdogan expressed his country's readiness to mediate between Sudan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to establish security and peace in Sudan.
For his part, TSC President General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, praised Turkey's supportive positions for Sudan, appreciating its efforts to establish peace and stability in the region and its handling of many issues at the regional and international levels, pointing to its success in addressing the Syrian file. Al-Burhan welcomed any Turkish role that would contribute to ending the war caused by the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, calling for strengthening Turkish investments in various fields. He stressed his confidence in the positions of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his government in supporting the Sudanese people and their choices.
