TSC President Expresses Gratitude to Saudi and U.S. Leaderships for Peace Efforts in Sudan

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, met today with Saudi Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Waleed Al-Khereiji, in the presence of Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Muawiya Osman Khalid.
During the meeting, the Saudi official conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, along with their wishes for lasting peace and security for the Sudanese people.
General Al-Burhan expressed his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince for their interest and efforts in sustaining peace and stability in Sudan, emphasizing the historical ties and fraternal relations between the two nations.
The TSC President also expressed appreciation to U.S. President Donald Trump for his attention to the Sudanese issue and his efforts toward ending the conflict and establishing peace.
The discussions addressed the peace initiative sponsored jointly by the Saudi Crown Prince and U.S. President Donald Trump, aimed at resolving the Sudanese crisis and restoring peace, as well as the current regional situation.
The meeting further reviewed ongoing arrangements for convening the strategic coordination council between the two countries, which enjoys the patronage of the leaderships of both brotherly nations.
