TSC President: The Sudanese State Is Targeted

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, said that the Sudanese state is under attack, stressing the need to unite the nation and consolidate ranks to confront this threat.
Al-Burhan said that the Battle of Dignity is a struggle for the survival of all Sudanese, and that partial solutions will not be accepted. He stated that the solutions currently being proposed constitute a clear call for the division of Sudan, questioning how a ceasefire can be enforced while militias occupy cities and regions. He stressed the need to gather the militias and ensure the surrender of their weapons under guarantees. He added, “No one can impose Hamdok or Hemeidti on us,” and asserted that those aspiring to rule Sudan, including Hamdok, will not be able to govern it again. He also emphasized that those staying abroad must come back to the country and confront the Sudanese people directly. He further dismissed claims that the government is obstructing humanitarian aid as mere scare tactics, noting that all airports have been opened to relief convoys. Al-Burhan criticized the international community for its inaction in aiding the people of El-Fashir, pointing out that UN Security Council resolutions to lift the siege of El-Fashir have not been implemented by the rebellious militias, and no measures have been taken against them.
