Kamil Idris affirms the governments endeavor to achieve balanced and equitable development throughout the country

Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris has affirmed the government's endeavor to achieve balanced and equitable development throughout the country, noting that the Government of Hope places the problems of citizens in all regions as a top national priority.The Prime Minister met, at his office in Port Sudan on Monday, with a delegation from the Northern and River Nile states, where they discussed a number of issues and challenges facing the citizens of the two states.Kamil Idris listened to the delegation members' visions and ideas on how to solve the problems facing citizens in the two regions regarding development issues and public services, especially electricity. He affirmed that the Government of Hope would consider all the points raised and work to resolve the problems complained about by the citizens of the Northern and River Nile states within the framework of a comprehensive plan. The delegation's speakers called for a review of the rights and share of the two states in mining revenues, border crossings, and national projects, emphasizing that the two states need these rights to develop services and the region in a manner commensurate with their contributions to the national economy.The delegation included chieftain Osman Said Ahmed, Mohamed Ahmed Hassan, Azhari Al-Mubarak, Mohamed Wada'a, and others.
