TSC Advisor for Organizations and Humanitarian Action Meets Egyptian Ambassador to Sudan

The Advisor to the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) for Organizations and Humanitarian Action, Lt. Gen. Al-Sadig Ismail Mahmoud, has met with the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Sudan, Hani Salah, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between Sudan and Egypt and the potential for developing humanitarian work in the coming period.
The meeting addressed the idea of developing cooperation and coordination across the land border crossings between Sudan and Egypt and the possibility of utilizing these crossings to serve humanitarian issues in the country. Lt. Gen. Al-Sadig welcomed Ambassador Hani Salah's visit and thanked Egypt for its role in all fields of joint cooperation. For his part, the Egyptian Ambassador affirmed, in a press statement, his country's readiness to exert all efforts in regional and international forums to convey the message that Sudan is committed to preserving the security and rights of Sudanese citizens.
