The acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ali Al-Sadiq Ali, received in his office yesterday, Mr. Baba Ghana Ahmadu, the Resident Representative of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Sudan, to bid him farewell after the end of his term of office in Sudan. Baba expressed his appreciation for the cooperation he found from the Sudan’s government officials to perform his duties during his tenure, pointing to the promising possibilities and opportunities in Sudan to achieve local and regional food security. On his part, the Foreign Minister praised the efforts made by Baba to support Sudan in the agricultural field during his tenure at the head of the FAO, wishing him success in his new position.
