The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, received at the Republican Palace, the credentials of the Irish Ambassador to Sudan, Ambassador Fionnuala Quinlan, in the presence of the Acting Foreign Minister, Ambassador Ali Al-Sadiq.
Ambassador Fionnuala, affirmed, in a press statement, her country's stance and support for Sudan to confront the current challenges and difficulties it is going through, expressing her country's desire to establish a strong relation of friendship and cooperation with Sudan.
She added that there are more than two thousand Sudanese doctors working in the health field in the Republic of Ireland, and they make a great and valuable contribution in all aspects of social life, noting her country's contribution to training hundreds of Sudanese doctors who will in turn contribute to the development of the medical field in Sudan.
