Al Burhan Interview

Riyadh, March 22 (SUNA) – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council Gen. Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan gave an interview to Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper today on the sidelines of his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in which he affirmed the success of the visit, considering that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a pivotal country in the region and linked to Sudan with historical relations. The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council added that he briefed the leadership in Saudi Arabia on the political developments in Sudan, declaring full solidarity with Saudi Arabia regarding the terrorist attacks it face, and that destabilizing the security of the Kingdom is destabilizing the security of Sudan and the region. Al-Burhan noted that Saudi Arabia affirmed its support for the transitional period in Sudan and its readiness for open investment in Sudan and continue cooperation to secure the Red Sea. The interview covered many other topics. BT/BT
