Al-Burhan delivers an official invitation to Salvakir to visit Sudan

Khartoum, Sept 29 (SUNA) – The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, on Wednesday handed the Advisor of the President of the Republic of South Sudan, Chairman of the South Sudan Mediation Delegation, Tut Galwak an official invitation for Salva Kiir Mayardit to visit Sudan. This came when the TSC President received the South Sudan official who stated in press statements that his visit comes in the context of the South Sudan President directives concerning inspection of the current political situations in the country and the progress of the implementation of the terms of the Juba Agreement for Sudan's Peace and implementation mechanisms. Galwak said the meeting discussed the opportunities for the success f the Transitional Period through the consensus between the components of the stage, besides the bilateral relations, peace issues and opening of the crossings and borers between Sudan and South Sudan. The South Sudan official revealed the completion of the arrangements for assuming new round of peace negotiations between the People’s Movement led by Abdel Aziz Al-Hilo and the government. “I informed the TSC President that the mediation is waiting for the arrival of the government delegation to start the negotiations” He stressed.
