Khartoum, Sep. 29 (SUNA) – The First Vice – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander of the Rapid Support Forces, Gen. Mohmed Hamdan Daglo, received in his office on Wednesday the Security Advisor of South Sudan President and mediator in Juba agreement for peace in Sudan, Tut Galwak, who handed Gen. Daglo a message from South Sudan State’s President, Salva Kiir, dealing with the situation in Sudan. The meeting discussed the implementation of Juba agreement for peace in Sudan, especially regarding implementation of the security arrangements’ clause, and the political issues in the two countries. In a press statement after the meeting, Galwak said that he was briefed on the implementation of the peace agreement, pointing out that dates were set for joint sessions with participation of the higher joint committee for monitoring the agreement and the Revolutionary Front in order to arrange the entry of forces to the training camps toward completing the file of the security arrangements. He stated that an agreement on a schedule for implementing the Juba Peace Agreement in a way that speeds up the implementation process, adding that the situation in Sudan affirms the importance of peace. He said that President Salva Kiir has asked the Sudanese parties to calm down the situation, explaining that he will meet with the Prime Minister, the political forces and the parties of the peace agreement, in order to hold sessions for reaching solutions that bring together all parties of the peace process.Galwak stressed that the Sudanese leadership in the Sovereignty Council and the Council of Ministers is able to solve the political problems in the country, pointing out that the political situations in both countries are affected by each other, as they are one people in two states."
