FM Lauds development achieved on border strip

Gadarif, Aug 16 (SUNA) – Foreign Minister, Dr. Mariam Al-Sadig Al-Mahdi has expressed pleasure over the development achieved in Al-Fashaga border strip. The minister affirmed that the army celebration of the inauguration of the development projects in the area, in the presence of the government’s partners affirms the state concern over the borders. Dr. Mariam in a press statement indicated to the diplomatic efforts carried out by the ministry in the international forums to affirm the Sudanese identity of Al-Fashaga and refutation of the Ethiopian negative statements in this connection.
