Oil Minister meets US delegation

Khartoum, Aug 2 (SUNA) – Energy and Oil Minister, Eng. Jadain Ali Obeid met, Monday, at his office, the visiting US delegation and briefed it on the opportunities for investment in Sudan. The minister said Sudan looks forward to the fruitful cooperation which promote the electricity sector in the fields of power generation, transport, distribution and electricity services development in the context of Sudan openness policy toward the world. On oil sector, the minister reviewed the infrastructures Sudan enjoys and the ministry work for increase of oil production from the operating oil fields. The US delegation lauded the Sudan-US relations which witness remarkable development following the recent developments in the country, expressing desire to study the projects presented for investment in Sudan.
