Khartoum Aug 2 (SUNA) – The Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan, Mohammed Al-Fateh Zain Al-Abdeen received, Monday, at his office, a US delegation including Congress members and businessmen. The meeting discussed strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countriesin different economic fields and he possibility of benefitting from the programs and agreements between the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank to promote and support the banking system and the openness policy towards the US investments. The Governor of the Central Bank has explained that Sudan looks forward to benefitting from the technical and electronic support of the WB to develop its systems to cope with the foreign investments following isolation imposed on the country and after the revocation of Sudan’s name from the list of the countries sponsoring terrorism. THE us delegation said the IMF and the WB have a number of projects and programs concerning the technical support in different economic, financial and humanitarian fields. IF/IF
