Minister of Foreign Affairs arrives in Russia on official visit

Khartoum, July 11 (SUNA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mariam Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi arrived in Russia on a three-day official visit during which she is to hold talks with her Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on bilateral relations and regional and international issues of mutual concern. SUNA learnt that the talks between the two sides would focus on developments of the issue of the Renaissance Dam. The Minister of Foreign Affairs meets also with the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation Alexander Kozlov, who heads his country’s side in the Joint Sudanese-Russian Ministerial Committee on Economic and Commercial Cooperation.
