Khartoum, May 10 (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and chairman of the higher committee for implementation of the two areas’ track, Gen. Shams-Eddin Kabbashi, chaired at the Republican Palace Monday the first meeting of the committee, which reviewed a number of issues related to the implementation of the agreement on the two areas’ track and the obstacles facing the implementation. In a press statement, the Minister of Federal Government, Buthaina Dinar, said that the meeting discussed the progress of the agreement’s implementation and a number of urgent major and procedural issues. She stated that the meeting adopted a number of decisions, including submitting a recommendation to the supreme national committee for following up the implementation of the Juba Peace Agreement for Sudan to name the commissions related to the implementation of the agreement, in addition to formulating the internal regulations to organize the committee's work, taking into account the flexibility and effectiveness. The Minister of Federal Government pointed out that the committee agreed on formation of a joint provisional committee to carry out the initial procedure for the return of the displaced persons and refugees, adding that this committee will carry out its works until establishment of the Commission for Voluntary Return of Displaced Persons and Refugees.
