Ministry of Finance and UN discuss women's issues
Khartoum, Dec. 8 (SUNA) – The Acting Minister of Finance and Economic Planning has asserted the importance of women's issues and gender policies in the framework of the general budget industry, and the importance of rehabilitation of the ministry’s gender unit. During her meeting today at her office with Mrs. Ajaratu Fatu Andai, Resident Representative of UN Women, who confirmed UN Women’s support to the government by providing technical support. The meeting has discussed the women's issues in Sudan, while Mrs. Andai praised the role of the Sudanese in the entire social, economic and political issues in which women play an effective role, affirming support to the Sudan’s women's programs and activities in various fields. ta
