Dr. Hamdouk Informed on Situation in Sennar State

Khartoum, Oct. 28 (SUNA) – Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk, has stressed the importance of protection to the agricultural season and rehabilitation of the infrastructures in the fields of education, health, water and electricity in Sennar State. Dr. Hamdouk was briefed during his meeting in his office Wednesday with the Wali (governor) of Sennar State, Al-Mahi Mohamed Suleiman, on the situation in the state and the challenges facing its government after the floods disaster and the measures taken to protect the citizens’ lives and properties. The Wali explained in a press statement that the meeting touched on the need to provide equipments and machinery for the maintenance of internal roads in the state, in addition to implementing the roads funded by the federal government. He added that the meeting also reviewed the possibility to increase the state’s share of fuel and wheat-flour. MO
