Daglo appreciates South Sudan for supporting Peace in Sudan

Juba, Oct.1 (SUNA) – The Deputy Chairman of the Sovereign Council, Lt-General, the Head of Sudan Government delegation to Peace Negotiations, in Juba, Mohammed Hamdan Daglo has highly, appreciated the historical support of the Republic of the Republic of South Sudan to realize peace in Sudan. Daglo said in the press conference he held, at the airport, that the negotiation succeeded because we started it as brothers, not enemies. He lauded the efforts and the patience being exerted by the negotiation parties, the journalists and all those who contributed to realize peace, referring that the peace celebrations will enjoy wide regional and international presence. Meanwhile, Galwak announced the entry of the Sudanese to the Republic of South Sudan without entry visa. “We are one people in two states and the time has come for Khartoum and Juba to live in peace” He said. He commended the efforts exerted by the government delegation and the heads of the armed struggle movements who took courageous decisions to reach a comprehensive peace agreement to realize peace and stability in Sudan.
