Khartoum, Mar. 8 (SUNA) – Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, Let. Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, attend Sunday afternoon at Al-Mereikh Stadium in Omdurman a festival for graduation of the 69 batch of graduate officers of the Police Sciences College. The batch was composed of 278 recruits, including 11 from Jordan. Addressing the graduation festival, the Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Al-Teraifi Idris, said that stability and upholding to the values of patriotism are a lofty goal that both the Ministry of Interior and the Command of the Police Forces seek to achieve in order to preserve the gains of the people after the changes in the country, stressing that reform, reconstruction, development and modernization of police work find great concern for providing all citizens' security and criminal requirements. He affirmed the importance of the continuous training to preserve the human rights and to combat crime, asserting the importance of enhancing the community awareness among the police and the society to achieve the slogan (security is everyone's responsibility). He indicated that the graduating officers will find the required qualification and training in order to play their role in protecting lives and properties. MO
