Hamdok Praises EU Stance to Support Transitional Period
Khartoum, Oct. 24 (SUNA) - The Prime Minister, Dr Abdalla Hamdok, has praised the European Union stance for supportng success of the transitional period. This came when he received in his office at the Council of Ministers, the new EU ambassador to Sudan, Robert Van Den Dool. The Prime Minister has welcome the new EU Ambassador and affirmed Sudan keenness to achieve openness to the world and return to the international community . The meeting discussed importance of removing Sudan from the list of state sponsors of terro-rism . The EU Ambassador has stressed the EU commitment to support Sudan’s transitional government, disclosing that the EU gives priority to the provision of humanitarian assistance to the war and conflictaffected areas. ab/MO
