Foreign Minister Receives Tunisian Ambassador

Khartoum, Oct. 13 (SUNA) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Asma Mohamed Abdalla, recei-ved in her office Sunday the Ambassador of Tunisia to Sudan, Al-Hashimi Ujaili, who congratulated Asma on assuming the Foreign Minister’s position. The meeting has discussed the bilateral relations and the means of the international community support to Sudan during the transitional period. The Ambassador of Tunisia affirmed the strong support of his country to Sudan and its desire to consolidate the cooperation in different field and to coordinate stances at the international forums. The Foreign Minister has praised progress of the relations and cooperation between Sudan and Tunisia in all domains. The meeting has deliberated about the means to cement the cooperation between the two countries in the economic, trade, air transport and investment in the agricultural and food industry fields. The meeting also discussed ways to strengthen the cooperation and exchange of experiences between the Sudanese and Tunisian women. The minister affirmed the keenness of Sudan to cement its ties with Tunisia, resume meetings of the joint cooperation committee and to boost the investment in the two countries. MO
