Seghiroun: Next Stage Challenge for Improvement of Universities

Khartoum, Oct. 7 (SUNA) – The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Intisar Seghiroun has stressed the importance of providing the appropriate environment for the student realize academic achievement, in terms of buildings, housing , living of the students, equipment and administrative buildings, indicating that the coming phase represents a new challenge for the review and improvement of the public and private universities. This came during her inspection to the overall situation and difficulties facing the University of East Kordofan in the exercise of its academic activity. During her address to the lecturers and administrators of the University of East Kordofan she stressed the need to achieve quality in university education that the graduates would contribute in the development and the desired progress, noting that her visit comes to find out the nature of the work and performance of the universities and their readiness in terms of the stu-dents’ environment, the lecturors, equipment and laboratories, specifically in the medecine faculties. ta
