Khartoum, Oct.3 (SUNA) - The Secretary General of the Secretariat of Sudanese Expatri-ates, Dr Abdul-Rahman Sid-Ahmed, has asserted the secretariat's keenness to expand its partnerships with international organizations in a way to contribute to finding solution to return-ees’ issues and to issues pertinent to immigration and all immigrants . He reviewed during meeting with the official of UNIDO project on employment and entrepre-neurship development for youth immigrants, displaced persons, refugees, asylum seekers and hosting communities, Ram Kishore Prasad, the features of the secretariat's programs which was set to enable the Secretariat to be in contact with Sudanese nationals abroad. Kishore has underlined the international organization's desire to cooperate with the secretariat in the area of training for the returnees, particularly those returned from Saudi Arabia . He stated that the UNIDO has implemented a number of projects in Kassala, Port-Sudan, and Khartoum, disclosing that the overall objective of thse programs were to raise the capacities of youths at the age of 18 - 35 and to link them with the government’s technical structures especially the vocational training and microfinance Kishore unveiled that the UNIDO project of employment and entrepreneurship of immigrants targets 2,500 trainees, 500 of them have already undergene training. ab/MO
