Paris, Sep. 29 (SUNA) – The Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdok, arrived Sunday at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris heading a highlevel delegation, coming from New York where he participated in the 74th session of the UN General Assembly. In a statement to SUNA, the Director of Europe Administration at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and member of the delegation, Ambassador Mohamed Al-Ghazali, said that Dr. Hamdok is visiting Paris on invitation of the French President, Emanuel Macron, adding that Dr. Hamdok will hold a meetings with a number of French officials to discuss the cooperation between Khartoum and Paris. He referred to the distinguished relations between Sudan and France. Ambassador Al-Ghazali said that Dr. Hamdok will meet with the President of France, Emanuel Macron, at the Elysee Palace to review the ways for boosting the cooperation between Sudan and France. He pointed to the stances of France in supporting the Sudanese people’s revolution, explaining that the government of France has backed up the efforts of the African – Ethiopian mediation and gave a number of signals affirming the concern of France with Sudan and its keenness for sustainability of security, peace and stability in the country. He considered the visit of Dr. Hamdok to France as a historical one at the level of support to Sudan endeavors for achieving a genuine, successful and inspiring democratic transformation. MO
