Minister of Energy Meets Dr. Lual Ashwik Deng.

Khartoum, Sep26 (SUNA)-The Minister of Energy and Mining Adil Ali Ibrahim, met at his office, Wednesday the former Sudan's Minister of energy, general manager of Ebony Strate-gic Center in South Sudan state, Dr. Lual Ashwik Deng. The meeting discussed the im-portance of the oil sector and ways to increase production in the two countries to provide oil products, and called for more cooperation in the oil sector between Sudan and South Sudan . The Minister of Energy and Mining stressed his ministry Interest to cooperate with the Re-public of South Sudan in the oil sector in order to reap the fruits of cooperation in this vital sector, affirming the knowledge of Sudanese technicians of the nature of work in the fields of the South Sudan that the two countries were one country one day. Dr. Lual Ashwik Deng, an oil economist, praised the capabilities of Sudanese technicians working in the oil sector in the two countries. He appreciated the visit of Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk to Juba, the first foreign visit after taking office, and wished to activate the four freedoms between Sudan and South Sudan. sn
