Khartoum, Jnue 26 (SUNA) - The leading member of the United Democratic Umma Party (UDUP), Mariam Abdul-Rahim, affirmed that the priority at the current stage should be given to national peace. Abdul-Rahim predicted that the appearance of exclusion in political arena would lead to politi-cal tension. Adul-Rahim gave this statement at a forum held in SUNA premises Wednesday, where the UDUP formation was declared. She said that Sudan is considered the homeland of all the Sudanese people. Mariam said she believed that the Sudanese people could surpass the current stage based on participation of all political forces in solving national issues. Meanwhile, Fasial Younis, who is in charge of youth affairs in the party, said the party is en-gaged in crystalizing a complete vision for absobing young cadres and empowering them to make the change. The youth member of UDUP, Gumma Mehmed Ahmed, (who was an activist during the sit-in before the Armed Forces Command, said the revolution was firstly started as a demand mo-vement representing aspiration the nation. He said then it was slided away from its right track and hijacked by parties that adopted the exclusion policy. AA/MO
