Khartoum, June 20 (SUNA) – Academicians, lawyers and ambassadors have launched an initiative for the unity of the national rank for the sake of guaranteeing a secure homeland for all the Sudanese people.
At the regular news forum of Sudan News Agency (SUNA), they stressed the importance of mobilizing the national energies for preserving Sudan unity, security and stability and building its future according to the national will. The Academicians, lawyers and ambassadors also affirmed the importance of integrating all the initiative that aim for surpassing the crisis and achieving national accord. Prof. Muddathir Abdul-Rahim, the Political Sciences’ lecturer at the Sudanese universities, said that launching of the initiative was motivated by the feeling of national responsibility and the great risks facing the country, asserting their aim to unite position of all the Sudanese people for ensuring security and stability in the country. Ambassador Al-Shafie Ahmed Mohamed, pointed out that Sudan is infallible to slip into chaos, thanks to the “value fence” of the Sudanese citizens, calling for avoiding exclusion of the others in the political arena. He attributed the instability in the country to the pretention of some people that the obtain all the righteousness, stressing that their initiative aims for the unity of rank and is against any violence that target the Sudanese people. Meanwhile, member of the initiative, advocate Omer Al-Farouq, has affirmed his rejection to any international committee to investigate in the sit-in dissolution incidents toward avoiding intervention in the internal affairs of Sudan.
