Khartoum, June 20 (SUNA) -The Arab Parliament has called on the Transitional Military Council (TMC), the Forces of Freedom and Change, the political parties and civil society organizations to stick to dialogue and consultation to overcome the critical points, elevate Sudan’s interest and be committed to the peaceful track to achieve the political democratic transformation in Sudan. This came at conclusion of the Arab parliament’s 3rd session which was held in Cairo under chairmanship of the Arab Parliament's speaker, Dr Mishaal Al-Salmi. The Arab Parliament affirmed its full support to all phases of political process in Sudan with aim to hold fair democratic elections that culminate in peaceful political transition to a civilian rule. The Arab Parliament also assured importance of the security, stability and unity of Sudan, calling for adoption of a peaceful solution and political dialogue as mechanism of administration in the interim period. The Arab Parliament asserted its total rejection to foreign interference in Sudan’s domestic affairs and any attempt to internationalize the current situation in Sudan, welcoming outcome of the visit of the Arab League's Secretary General to Sudan on last Sunday. It called the Arab League to continue its endeavors and support to Sudan so as to help the Sudanese people achieve their aspirations for security, stability and development. The Arab League has assigned its Secretar General, Ahmed Aboul-Gait, to follow up the situation in Sudan. ab/MO
