Lt. Gen Abdul-Khaliq Meets Delegation of OIU Lecturers

Khartoum, June 16 (SUNA) -Head of Professional and Societal Committee at the Transitio-nal Military Council (TMC), Lt. Gen.(pilot) Salah Abdul-Khaliq, has assured the Important role that could be played by Omdurman Islamic University (OIU) in providing consultancies in the areas of government, administration and the economy. Upon his receiving to a delegation of Omdurman Islamic University lecturers in the Republican Palace Sunday, Lt. Gen. Abdul-Khaliq commended the efforts made by the OIU to enhance the higher education in the country in all fields. The Dean of Scientific Research at the OIU, Professor Amin Ibrahim Adam, said in a press statement that the meeting has affirmed the role of TMC in protecting the country’security and territories through formation of a government from a pure national qualified persons to administer the interim period of this delicate stage of Sudan history. The Advisor of the OIU Vice chancellor for curricular, Professor Abdul-Rahim Ahmed Salim, affirmed the OIU's full readiness to provide consultancies and visions on the economic and social domains for boosting stability and peace in the country, creating decent life and remo-ving economic burdens from citizens. ab/MO
