Khartoum, May 22 (SUNA) – Deputy Chairman of the Transitional Military Council (TMC), Lt. General, Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, has disclosed that the recent change that took place in the country was a real change and aimed at establishing the values of freedom, peace, justice and the rule of law. Lt. Gen. Daglo, who met, Wednesday at the Council of Ministers, the Directors of government’s institutions and units, has called for forgetting about the past and to be optimistic for the future. "We do not have to settle accounts with anyone, but we want the proper method that leads to the development and renaissance of the country," he said. He directed the concerned officials to serve the country and to avoid seeking personal interests. The TMC Deputy chairman stressed that the Transitional Military Council is a partner in power and not clinging to it, underlining that the real guarantor of the Sudanese people in peace, stability and democratic transformation is the TMC. He expressed hope that the negotiations between the TMC and the Forces of Freedom and Change will lead to an agreement that fulfills the aspirations of the people of Sudan. IF/MO
