Khartoum, April 25 (SUNA) – The Transitional Military Council (TMC) and the Forces of Freedom and Change Declaration have agreed on formation of a joint committee to resume discussion on the controversial issues and to deliberate about the transition arrangements and the jurisdiction of the different organs and structures. This was announced by the spokesman of the Transitional Military Council, Lt. Gen. Shams-Eddin Kabbashi, in a joint press conference between the TMC and the Forces of Freedom and Change Declaration at the Republican Palace Wednesday evening. Lt. Gen. Kabbashi said in a press statement that the meeting has reviewed the visions of the two sides on the coming period and the document which was presented by the Forces of Freedom and Change Declaration. He indicated that the two sides also agreed that they shall complimentary to each other and look forward for results that meet the Sudanese people administrations and lay down sound bases for re-building the homeland. The TMC stated that the meeting between the two sides was characterized by the patriotic spirit, affirming the effective role of the Armed Forces in protecting the nation and its stability. MO
