Aqar: The Government is Keen to deliver Aid to those who Deserve it

The Vice President of the Sovereignty Council TSC , Malik Aqar, affirmed the government’s endeavor and keenness to deliver humanitarian aid to those who deserve it and facilitate the work of relief teams, medical teams and employees of organizations working in the humanitarian field to play their role in providing humanitarian aid, particularly medical aid. He pledged, during his meeting in his office with Christos Christou, the International president of (MSF), to remove all obstacles facing the provision of humanitarian aid to citizens in the targeted states and to grant visas for the entry of teams and employees of international and regional organizations and relevant bodies. Aqar affirmed the need to protect medical facilities, medical teams and employees of operating organizations to enable them to provide medical aid to those affected by the war.
For his part, Christos Christou explained in a press statement that the meeting discussed many issues related to the humanitarian needs of the population in Sudan, and the importance of reaching all places affected by the war. He expressed his appreciation for the cooperation he received from the Government of Sudan and its serious commitment to continue working and coordinating jointly to provide medical and humanitarian services to citizens.
