The Acting Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim expressed full readiness to implement the protocols that were agreed upon with the Egyptian side. During his meeting with the Egyptian ambassador to Sudan Hani Salah at his office Saturday, the minister discussed joint cooperation between the two countries and an agreement to develop an implementation plan in order to ensure the continuity of providing health services and providing assistance to improve the health situation in Sudan, in the presence of the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Osman Abu Fatima and the Minister of Health in the Red State.
The minister expressed his full thanks and gratitude to the government and people of Egypt for the good and close cooperation and standing with Sudan and supporting all areas of the health system, and facilitating the arrival of the Arab League grant to Sudan, pointing out that there is joint coordination to implement some projects between the two countries.
The Egyptian ambassador revealed an Egyptian-Qatari initiative to establish a hospital in Sudan to provide health services in an advanced manner, expressing Egypt's readiness to provide every helping hand to the people of Sudan, wishing that Sudan would enjoy peace and security.
