President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan informed the President of Djibouti, Head of the current session of the IGAD Organization Ismail Omar Geili, of the Government of Sudan's rejection to the Kenya's presidency of the Quartet on Sudan.
That is because Kenya is not neutral and harboring leaders of the RSF rebels. General Al-Burhan affirmed Sudan's support for the IGAD initiative aimed at finding possible solutions for the conflict in Sudan. The TSC President congratulated the President of Djibouti on his selection a head of the current session of the organization, wishing him success in his mission. Al-Burhan expressed his gratitude to the President of Djibouti and his people, wishing them security and peace. For his part, the President of Djibouti expressed his concern about the fate of the situation in Sudan, hoping the return of peace and stability as soon as possible, hoping that Sudan would emerge from this current crisis with more strength and impunity.
