TSC President condemns assassination of West Darfur's Governor by the Rebel Rapid Support Forces militia

The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) General Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan denounced the treacherous attack carried out by the Rapid Support Forces, in which they targeted and killed the governor of West Darfur Khamis Abdullah Abkar, in El-Geneina city.
The head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council affirmed that what the rebel Rapid Support militia is doing including killing, looting and terrorizing citizens and targeting service and development facilities in the city of El-Geneina reflects the extent of the atrocities committed by these rebel forces against the innocent defenseless citizens.
General Al-Burhan revealed that the governor of West Darfur state apointment was based on the Juba Sudan peace agreement with the armed struggle movements, and he is the head of an armed movement that responded to the call for peace.
