TSC, Cabinet Joint Meeting Approves State Budget for year 2023

The joint meeting of the Transitional Sovereignty Councils and the Cabinet' Council, chaired by the President of the TSC, Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, at the Republican Palace yesterday, approved the state’s general budget for the fiscal year 2023 and the accompanying laws and amendments.
The Minister of Finance and Economic Planning , Dr. Jibril Ibrahim said in a press statement that the approval of the budget and the accompanying laws enable the Ministry of Finance to have jurisdiction over public money and decisions will follow to authorize spending on the budget. Dr. Jibril Ibrahim, announced that the budget bears promising news of large spending on education, health, water and social care in addition to creating 50,000 job opportunities for this year. He expressed his hope that political stability will be achieved in order to enable the implementation of the budget as required.
