Foreign Minister Meets Adviser for President of IFRC

Acting Minister of foreign Ambassador Ali Al-Sadiq met today, , in his office with Dr. Abbas Qulit, Advisor to the President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent, (IFRC) Societies accompanied by Dr. Mohamed Omar Mukhair, Regional Director of (IFRC) Societies, and President and the Secretary General of the Sudanese Red Crescent Society.The meeting discussed means of solving the problems that hinder the work of the Sudanese National Red Crescent Society and to provide it with financial resources.
The Minister pointed out that the government will continue to support the Sudanese Red Crescent Society, indicating that the society plays complementary roles to the efforts made by the government in confronting disasters and providing support for the affected population. For its part, the delegation says it looks forward for the minister's visit to their regional office in Nairobi in the near future.
